Hi, I’m Danyang Zhai, a senior motion designer specializing in motion-driven visual design. With a background in photography and graphic design, my work emphasizes form, material, and composition — using 3D as a tool to build clear, intentional visual narratives.

Danyang Zhai is a senior 3D motion designer with degrees from OCAD University and Ryerson University in Toronto. With a background in fine art photography — including a solo exhibition at 401 Richmond — his work is grounded in composition, material, and visual storytelling. Currently working at Rogers Sports and Media as a senior motion designer, he is expanding his practice into broadcast motion design and sports and entertainment-focused projects.
